The new Flowpacker from Schubert is the ideal solution for packaging products in flowpacks with predefined product and format variants. The preconfigured line from the new Schubert lightline machine series packages unwrapped, already packed or trayed products in flowpacks – with all the efficiency and quality one expects from a Schubert TLM system. Users have the option of packaging different product formats in flowpacks – whether flat, lying on the side, stacked or in trays. Due to the preconfigured machine design, customers benefit from short delivery times and they can set up and operate the Flowpacker within a very short time.
The preconfigured Flowpacker combines the primary and secondary packaging of defined product formats within a TLM packaging machine. The flow-wrapping packaging machine is designed to efficiently handle small batch sizes, short product lifecycles and a high variety of products. Low investment costs make the application very attractive for many sectors, such as the confectionery, food and pharmaceutical industries.
The Flowpacker works with F4 pick & place robots, which load the products into the feed chain. The image recognition system not only ensures that the robots recognise the location and position of the products, it also makes sure that only flawless products are placed in the feed chain and then packaged.
