In the blink of an eye, they transform a simple pallet into a car, a ladder, a hiding place or a stage. In the mud kitchen, they mix soil, sand and water together to make the perfect ‘concrete’ for construction. “We give children’s imaginations free rein through natural materials and equipment such as an electrical box, a workbench and whittling tools,” explains Irina Haslbauer, the daycare manager. This unique educational concept reflects Schubert’s values while fostering a sense of community and a responsible approach to nature.
