The selection of both material and packaging determines how efficiently your packaging process can run in a machine or line. To this end, we have built up comprehensive expertise for our customers over recent years. At the Schubert Technical Centre, we directly test the machine runnability of packaging in practice with a multitude of commercially available materials. This expertise enables our specialists to always provide you with sound recommendations. Cardboard packaging development is also part of our portfolio – enabling us to either optimise existing packaging or design new alternatives to plastic packaging.

Packaging machines

Pick and place packaging machine

A flexible packaging machine can be modified so easily that it can remain in use for 20 years or more, even in fast-moving industries. This is precisely why we have been building flexibility into our top-loading machine concept from the very beginning. Modular design with Schubert’s state-of-the-art line components is consistently adapted to changing requirements in the packaging sector. Our ideally matched robot technology ensures efficiency and quality throughout the packaging process, be it filling or pick & place, packaging into flowpacks or into cartons. Sustainable, durable and flexible – this is what a future-proof packaging machine is all about today.

Cobot robot

Achieving your goal of efficient and cost-effective packaging calls for the perfect interplay of the many technological components in a line. For this reason, we develop virtually every technology in-house at Schubert. From our Scala and Delta robots to image processing, our Transmodul transport robot, our flying cross-sealing unit for constant sealing times, advanced control systems and tools all the way through to the Cobot. Further components from the Schubert Group include the GS.Gate industrial gateway and PARTBOX, the complete system enabling the production of 3D-printed format parts in your own facilities.
