Another award for best consulting service

Schubert-Consulting, a unit of Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH, was named top consultant in the “Technical Consulting” category for the second time at the fifth German Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Summit. Michael Graf, Director of Schubert-Consulting, accepted the prize on 29 June from former German President Christian Wulff, the project’s mentor, in a formal prize-giving ceremony in Ludwigsburg. The company has received the award once before, in 2015.

Schubert Packaging Systems creates cross-sector turnkey packaging lines with a high level of engineering performance. The Schubert-Consulting unit, created specifically to provide consulting services, has been providing customers with unbiased, market-oriented consulting in the field of end packaging for many years. The expert team guides the customer from the theoretical design of the solution through to implementation or production with a line that is ready to be put into operation. The range of services also includes individual packaging lines or factory layouts, and even entire greenfield projects. Experienced staff work closely with customers to develop the optimum solution, whether that is a concept study for use as a basis for budget plans or a detailed plan of an entire packaging centre taking into account material and data flows. The consultants are able to draw on many years of experience in the areas of pharmaceuticals, confectionery, food, snacks, beverages, pet food and technical products.

“This success is solely thanks to our employees – their commitment and passion have made it possible to achieve such a good result,” explained Olaf Horrenberger, Managing Director of Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH. The prize was awarded on the basis of a scientifically sound customer survey under the leadership of scientists Professor Dr Dietmar Fink and Bianka Knoblach, both Managing Directors of the Scientific Society for Management and Consulting (WGMB) in Bonn. On behalf of compamedia GmbH, they conducted surveys of reference customers of participating consulting firms. Professionalism, competence and customer satisfaction were the central assessment criteria. The results of this two-stage customer survey were then evaluated along with other company data. As part of the analysis, ten reference customers were asked about the consulting service provided by each candidate.

“We are very pleased to have been named top consultant for the second time. It affirms our work and naturally spurs us on to keep improving our consulting service,” says Michael Graf. “Our customers’ visions give us a template for our plans. The finished solution in turn gives our customers the certainty that they have chosen the right partner.”
