With the DUALIS seal, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) certifies above-average training quality, which is something Schubert employees are very proud of. The training team is constantly working on improving the Schubert training processes. And, of course, this is only possible in collaboration with the many training officers and colleagues who instruct and supervise our trainees in practice.
The excellent collaboration and dedication of the entire training team also impressed the auditors – a fact that was specifically highlighted during the final discussion. The auditors also noted the exceptional motivation and strong identification of the trainees with their training organisation, which speaks for itself!
Currently some 90 apprentices and DHBW* students in Crailsheim
Our first ever trainee started his apprenticeship as a machinist in 1968, just two years after the company was founded. After successfully completing his training, he remained loyal to the company until he went into well-earned retirement in 2017. With the steady economic growth of the successful family business, the number of trainees has also risen continuously. Gerhard Schubert GmbH currently has a total of some 90 trainees and DHBW students who are learning their chosen profession in the company’s in-house training workshop as well as in the production and assembly groups, or in Schubert’s commercial departments.
Just last week, Gerhard Schubert GmbH welcomed 32 new colleagues who will begin their training in Crailsheim this autumn. Together with their parents, they were given an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the company during a detailed company presentation and a tour of the premises, and to find out more about the training process at the subsequent information event.
Gerhard Schubert GmbH is very much looking forward to welcoming the new trainees – especially in view of the company’s new Werk III plant, scheduled to open this autumn.
* DHBW is the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, the first higher education institution in Germany to integrate academic studies with workplace training.
