Future-proof packaging solutions for the food sector

Packaging machinery manufacturer Schubert is set to launch its trade fair calendar at the CFIA 2022 (Carrefour des fournisseurs de l'industrie agroalimentaire) in Rennes, France. From 8 to 10 March 2022, visitors to Parc Expo Rennes Aéroport will have an opportunity to discover a wealth of information on the innovation driver’s cutting-edge packaging solutions at Stand F05 in Hall 10. With its highly flexible robot-assisted machine technology and expertise in alternative carton packaging, Schubert is well positioned to provide targeted support to food manufacturers on their journey towards greater efficiency and sustainability.

Following Schubert’s successful participation in last year’s CFIA, the packaging expert will be presenting its expertise to the French audience for the second time. With Charles-Antoine Freiher as new Sales manager and the company’s new premises at the Compiègne site, the experienced French Schubert team is well aligned to successfully respond to the current trends and high demands of the packaging industry. At Stand F05 in Hall 10, the experts look forward to demonstrating and clarifying Schubert’s sustainable packaging solutions and technical innovations to customers, prospective customers and visitors.

Real-life examples of efficient and sustainable packaging solutions

The focus of the trade fair presentation will be on practice-oriented application examples from the food, dairy and confectionery industries. These include frequently performed packaging tasks such as pick & place, packaging into flowpacks as well as cartoning a wide variety of products and formats. The modular design of its packaging machines and highly advanced robot technology enable Schubert to implement exceptionally flexible packaging processes. This flexibility is a major advantage, especially in view of the fast-moving food market and the need to switch to more sustainable packaging. For instance, Schubert’s packaging systems can switch between conventional and recyclable packaging materials – between plastic and cardboard trays, for example, or between composite films and paper-based films when packaging into flowpacks.

The packaging itself is just as important as the packaging processes: In the highly competitive consumer market, manufacturers can achieve and capitalise on decisive competitive advantages with sustainable packaging solutions. At its exhibition stand, Schubert will be demonstrating how recently developed packaging can make the entire process more efficient, more resource-saving and therefore more sustainable. For example, by reducing the volume of a package, by optimising blanks or by using a cardboard package to replace the previous plastic packaging. With Schubert as a partner, companies in the industry are ideally positioned to succeed today and in the future.
