Between 28 and 30 September 2021, the doors will be opened at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center for the FACHPACK 2021 show under the motto “We create the future”. As one of the world’s leading and most innovative packaging machine manufacturers, Crailsheim-based Gerhard Schubert GmbH will of course be among the exhibitors. The Schubert experts will be presenting their answers to developments in sustainable packaging in Hall 1, Stand 219. Visitors will also find a wealth of information on the lightline machine series and have an opportunity to experience a flexible TLM packaging machine in action. Schubert will be providing information online for those interested parties who cannot attend the event live. The trade fair organization itself will also be offering opportunities to follow the event via streams.
Environmentally friendly packaging is a topic that is gaining serious traction in the packaging industry and will play a major role at the FACHPACK show. Wherever plastic can be dispensed with in packaging, it is now being largely replaced by cardboard. With more than 50 years of experience in the field of sustainable packaging, Schubert clearly stands out from the crowd. At the trade fair, the packaging machine manufacturer will show visitors how converting to environmentally friendly packaging solutions can be achieved in a way that reconciles sustainability and cost-effectiveness – with the support of the experts from Schubert-Consulting, robot-assisted TLM technology and early planning. The experts at the stand will also provide information on in-house developments in packaging. Optimised packaging, which can result in more cartons being transported per pallet, has a sustainable effect on logistics as well. Thanks to Schubert’s unique modular system, packaging machines can be precisely tailored to customer requirements in terms of sustainability. Interested parties will learn how a Schubert line can be designed so flexibly that it can process both conventional and recyclable plastic and cardboard packaging.
Visitors to the exhibition stand will experience live just how personalised and flexible Schubert’s machines are. The Crailsheim-based company has developed a machine consisting of a flowpacker and a cartoner for food manufacturer Ülker, which the Turkish company deploys to package its chocolate bars. Thanks to the system’s exceptional flexibility, the packs can either be packaged into multipacks in flowpacks, or into cartons. Despite its dual function, the machine stands out with its compact design. Customers also benefit from quick changeover between flowpack and carton formats and a very high output of 660 packaged products per minute. Visitors to the trade fair stand can observe live how the machine packs either three bars into a flowpack multipack or 24 bars into a box.
At the trade fair, Schubert will also be presenting its lightline machine series, which includes three types of preconfigured packaging machines to take on standard packaging tasks. In addition to the lightline Cartonpacker, the series covers pick & place applications with the lightline Pickerline and packaging into flowpacks with the lightline Flowpacker. The lightline machines represent an ideal option for manufacturers of consumer goods to position themselves on the market quickly and sustainably with future-proof packaging processes. Manufacturers can quickly expand their capacities or respond to new orders thanks to short delivery times and rapid automation. The proven functional principles of a TLM system from Schubert and intelligent machine control systems ensure reliable operation over the entire service life of the machine.
