Sequence 1/2015

Dear Readers,

Schubert is an “idea factory”. We are never satisfied with the status quo. Instead, we always question how things are done and strive to continuously elevate the standard. This opens up new opportunities and raises the benchmark, which in turn helps us improve your competitiveness.

For many years we have been working on a significant development project: a packaging machine without an electrical cabinet. In May 2014, it was with great pride that we presented the first fruits of our efforts at the interpack fair.

This year, the first UNI-6-TLM systems will be put into operation by several customers. This development is a pioneering achievement, which in our opinion will evolve into a new standard in packaging machine construction over the next decade.

The benefits of this development speak for themselves: fewer parts, less assembly time, improved error analysis and enhanced production reliability. The latest-generation TLM machines are becoming more simple, more compact and more environmentally friendly. You can read more about this on page 26.

We hope you enjoy reading this latest issue of Sequence and hope to see you soon in Crailsheim
