Schubert publishes ANNUAL 2025

With ANNUAL 2025, Gerhard Schubert GmbH once again shows how we approach and put sustainable development into practice: together, transparently and with a clear eye to the future. For the first time, the latest sustainability report has been published entirely in digital form, bringing together facts, insights and stories about our Mission Blue Sustainability Initiative.

Sustainability as a shared journey

For three years, Schubert has been consistently advancing Mission Blue. The initiative combines our traditional values with clear sustainability goals and makes one thing clear: for us, sustainable transformation is not a standalone project, but a task we tackle together. ANNUAL 2025 shows the progress we made over the past year and the momentum with which we are driving change across different areas.

It is not just about figures and results. It is also about the journey: teams taking responsibility, ideas being developed further and the many small steps that together make a big difference.

More about Mission Blue

Four areas, many tangible steps

The report offers in-depth insights into the four areas of sustainability:

  • Sustainable corporate management
  • Climate-friendly production
  • Environmentally friendly machines and services
  • Sustainable packaging

The breadth of Mission Blue at Schubert is particularly evident in this variety. In every area, work is under way to translate goals into tangible measures, bring innovation into existing processes and drive new solutions forward together. Step by step, this creates progress that has an impact not only internally, but is also felt by our customers and partners.

A report that shows what drives us

With digital ANNUAL 2025, Schubert brings together its sustainability magazine, ESRS reporting and annual report to create a clear overall picture. The report shows how we understand sustainability: as part of our values and an integral part of our corporate strategy.

ANNUAL 2025 shows not only the results, but also the journey behind them. At its centre are our four areas of sustainability, the materiality matrix and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which provide the framework for our sustainability work. This makes clear which topics are particularly relevant to Schubert and how we use them to develop tangible measures. At the same time, the report shows that sustainable development at Schubert is closely linked to innovation, responsibility and our commitment to continuous improvement.

This approach is also reflected in tangible achievements – including awards such as “Great Place to Work” and the “Lean & Green Management Award”, the new generation of TLM packaging machines and sustainable packaging solutions from the Packaging Competence Center.

Shaping the future together

ANNUAL 2025 makes it clear that sustainability at Schubert is not an abstract goal, but part of our daily work. It is brought to life by people who take responsibility, contribute ideas and make change possible together. That is what makes the Mission Blue journey so strong – and so forward-looking.

We are not making this journey alone; we are shaping it together. And that is precisely the strength of ANNUAL 2025: it shows what we have already achieved while also giving a clear outlook on what we want to continue to accomplish.
