ProPak Asia is one of the most significant trade fairs for the processing and packaging industry in Asia, and an absolute must for any international machine and line manufacturer. German packaging manufacturer Schubert will also be among the exhibitors. In the Thai metropolis, from 15 to 18 June 2022, the family-owned company from Crailsheim will be providing information on sustainable packaging as well as its cutting-edge automation solutions.
This is not only boosting tourism again, it also marks a renaissance for trade fairs in the country. After a one-year break, ProPak Asia is now reopening its doors – this time at the International Trade & Exhibition Center in Bangkok. The Asian trade fair for the processing and packaging of food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and consumer goods brings together exhibitors and buyers from all over the world. Packaging machine manufacturer Schubert from Crailsheim (Germany) will also be present at the event, which will take place from 15 to 18 June 2022. “Demand for our TLM packaging machines in the Asian region is steadily growing, so it’s important for us to have a local presence and to get to know the market even better and to be actively involved in shaping its future,” says Laurent Bouillet, Sales and Business Development Manager South East Asia at Schubert. He and his colleague Bernd Göhringer, Area Sales Manager, will be at Stand BG29 in Hall 102 to personally provide information about the state-of-the-art packaging and automation solutions from Baden-Württemberg.
This year, the focus of the exhibition will be on the topic of sustainability. Schubert has been working with paper and cardboard packaging for over 50 years, and with this expertise it has taken on a leading role in sustainable packaging. “Thanks to our manufacturer-independent consulting, we are uniquely positioned to help customers successfully make the switch to sustainable packaging materials. As early as in the planning stage, we place great emphasis on the perfect interplay of material, technology and expertise,” says Bernd Göhringer. At the trade fair stand, visitors will discover, for example, how Schubert’s experts succeed in packaging biscuits in cardboard or paper, or how companies can save costs by reducing the volume of packaging material. “Sustainability and cost-effectiveness can most definitely be reconciled,” asserts Laurent Bouillet. The two experts will also be happy to answer any questions about Schubert’s in-house packaging development expertise.
Taking part in ProPak is an important step for the packaging machine manufacturer in terms of managing its market positioning in Asia. In collaboration with its trading partner Winckler & Co Ltd, Schubert has successfully implemented several projects in Japan in the food and confectionery sectors. A manufacturer of cosmetics from Taiwan is also currently packaging its products with machines from Crailsheim. “We are looking forward to exciting discussions and encounters, and we are certain that we will be able to inspire even more customers with our packaging solutions,” says Laurent Bouillet.
